Growing Ancient Specimen Olive Trees
Ancient Olive Tree’s orchards are farmed in Northern California, near the towns of Anderson and Corning, about 150 miles north of San Francisco. Our trees range in age from 25 to over 130 years old, and our orchards have been maintained by the same professional for 20 years.
We grow a selection of specimen olive tree varieties, each suited for just the right look to your landscape.
Sevillano olive trees are prized for their rough, gnarly bark and genuine character. They’re a favorite of the landscape designers we collaborate with.
Our Baroney olive trees grow in an orchard first planted in 1887. These 130-year-old trees possess a textured, intricate bark, similar to the Sevillanos.
The Ascollano variety is more modern in shape and beautifully balanced, providing sculptural highlights to any landscape.
Old growth olive trees are an excellent landscape investment, adding instant value to a home site. Our mature trees also provide shade, privacy and noise reduction. Every grown olive tree in our orchards is ready to be shipped directly to you.
